Autumn 2023 - Frankie Strand
Frankie Strand is a multidisciplinary artist, with a background in street art & illustration. Her work ranges from intricate pencil drawings to large scale paintings that span entire buildings and sculptural installations for events.
Drawing inspiration from natural and medical history, Frankie’s work is largely informed by time spent sketching specimens in museums and observing plants and wildlife during her travels. Occasionally her work leans towards a darker side through the exploration of morbid and sinister themes. At other times, you could say quite the opposite - Frankie is known for creating colourful, dynamic and uplifting pieces.
At FREVD we have two galleries, one on the ground floor and one on the basement. From 2024 we are looking to exhibit artist for between 4-6 weeks at a time. We accept all forms of 2D art.

At the top of London's Shaftesbury Avenue, below twisting wisteria and neon, lies the FREVD Café Bar. Here we have been serving legendary cocktails since 1986. Art exhibitions are hung each month and thirty seven since opening you can be sure to find us packed, with great music and the buzz of friends meeting friends.
